Shapes

This week we have been learning to name and describe 2D shapes. We made shape pictures and we sang songs and played games. Perhaps you could look for 2D shapes when you go out walking.
We have been learning our Harvest song 'Farmer Plants the seeds'. You can find it on YouTube and sing along together.
We read the story of 'The Three Little Pigs' and the children wrote books and made pictures and paintings as well as practising their scissor skills by cutting out the characters.
We had our first PE session in the hall and we were very impressed by the way the children listened and followed instructions. The children are all settling in so well!
Our Home Learning this week is to decorate an envelope for Harvest and donate some money for charity.
