The children have settled really well into school and this week we started to think about our topic 'Once Upon a Time' and what we would like to learn. This week we read the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Some of the children made some lovely books and all the children made paintings of teddies.
In Literacy we all drew pictures of the three bears and then had a go at labelling them. For our Maths we used size language to talk about the bears.
We have all read with the teacher this week and will be taking a reading book home. Please read together over the weekend and make sure you sign the record every time you read so that we can give you a new book. The home learning this week is to decorate some bunting for our 50th birthday celebrations on Monday 2 October.
